Another one of those weeks it has been
When things aren't so clearly seen.
But those of us who're awake all know
There's more going on in this "picture show".
The people you see aren't really there,
Except for you to look at and stare.
The ones who really wield all the power
Are working hard for you hour by hour.
Someday you'll look back and see all you've missed.
At that point you will be rightfully...ticked off.
You'll wonder how you could have been thus duped'
And will probably feel kind of sorry and stupid.
But fear not for that's what [they] want you to think.
You were led and were guided about to the brink.
Be thankful for those who woke up ere you,
And praise the Lord now for all that they do.
