Email Schmeemail

When email first hit the road,

I didn't think much of it.

It felt like an ugly toad.

I couldn't see why to love it.

If you wanted to communicate now,

All you had to do was phone.

I really couldn't see how

An email would git 'er done.

Done any better, that is.

E'en now the phone still's a good thing.

Email now is a big biz,

And the phone no longer does "ring".

But there's something email can do

That makes it worth the while.

You can send one to many or few

Of your friends, o'er many a mile.

And also it is very true

You don't have to read them right off.

Tho' they pile up - not just a few -

I no longer at them do scoff.

One thing still there is I do want,

And I hope you're not guilty here...hey?
